-ABOUT THE WRITER-
I do everything you'll hear on this site, myself. I'm the writer, musician, singer and studio engineer. It's pretty safe to say that if you hear something you don't like, it's my fault!
I started in the business as a drummer and a singer. Eventually I picked up guitar, bass, some keyboard and starting writing. Like I once told a buddy, it's not so much that I like doing everything myself...........more that I like being able to.

Several years of working alone has changed the way I approach writing. Back when I was primarily a drummer, I wrote overly complex, personally challenging drum parts. Like a lot of musicians, I was focused mainly on my instrument. The overall product came second. First and foremost, I wanted my part to be impressive! Now, as a songwriter and the only musician/arranger, my entire focus is on the song. Now, when I write a part, my main concern is that it contribute to the direction I'm trying to take the song. As a writer, it needs to be "all about the song". Honestly, I'm not sure I ever would have learned that playing in a band.
